Suspect Arrested For Burglary From NJ Church

LOWER TOWNSHIP, NJ (CBS) - Police in a small Cape May County town arrested a suspect in connection with the theft of a cash register and safe from a church.

Twenty-one-year-old Joshua R. Revak was arrested for his alleged role in a theft at the Seashore Community Church in Lower Township on January 15.

According to investigators, the suspect stole a cash register and a safe from inside a trailer used by the church. The suspect took approximately $500 in cash from the church property.

Police later located the cash register and safe in a dumpster in the church's parking lot, both of which had been severely damaged.

Detectives also took several photographs of the suspect's footprints in the snow and retrieved blood samples left at the scene after the actor had apparently cut himself during the burglary.

After an intense investigation, Revak was arrested at his home on Bayberry Avenue in the Villas.

Revak has been charged on an arrest warrant for Burglary to a structure and theft of Moveable Property. He is being held on $20,000 cash bail.
