New Soup Restaurant In Nolib Gets A Visit From A Seinfeld Favorite

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The actor who portrayed the 'Soup Nazi' in TV's Seinfeld was helping to promote a newly opened Northern Liberties restaurant.

Patrons of Doc's Gourmet soups in the 100 block of West Girard Avenue were getting a kick out of ordering soup from the Soup Nazi.

Actor Larry Thomas (photo, center) was dressed like the character he portrayed in the mid 90s on Seinfeld.

"He is having trouble pronouncing mulligatawny....I changed my mind No SOUP FOR YOU!!!!!!!

He was all smiles posing for pictures and signing autographs, "My episode of the soup Nazi was in 1995. There was one soup Nazi episode and then I did a cameo with a lot of other guest stars in the finale. So I was only on the show twice."

But many say his performances were very memorable.

Thomas says he is working a bunch on Indy films. One a western and says he has high hopes for it.
