PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia football fans are gearing up for Sunday’s big playoff game and they hope to be the not-so-secret element to the Eagles success.

Eagles fans are fired up for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.

“You’ve got to win that first round to move on,” one fan said.

Kuznits: “You excited?”

“Absolutely!”

Fans say having home field advantage makes a huge difference in the team’s morale.

“You have home games, the fans are right behind your team, you’re gonna be out there screaming, hollering and I think that really edges them guys to play harder.”

“70,000 people screaming scares another team.  It makes offensive linemen move before the snap of the ball.”

Kuznits: “What if you’re not at the game?”

“You’re in the parking lot!”

“The bars will be packed, people will be having parties.”

Kuznits: “Even if you’re not there at the game do you think the Eagles can still feel the support?”
“I think so!”

“I mean, I’m pretty sure that they listen to the radio.”

“Eagles fans are always gonna be there.”

Kuznits: “Are you one of those people that believes that when you do holler at the TV that you’re helping the team?”

“Yes! You just get excited, you’re into the game and that’s the way it is!”
