Home Video Report: 2011 Off To A Weak Start

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Our initial release of home videos for the new year is far from exciting -- unless you're turned on by the comedy Dinner For Schmucks (above), which comes with an overworked gag reel and a list of the "Biggest Schmucks In The World."

From 2008, there's The Lena Baker Story, the tale of an impoverished, uneducated African-American woman and her struggles in rural Georgia during the 1940s. She is the only woman to be sentenced to death in the electric chair in that state.

There's also the complete first season of "The Ricky Gervais Show" and, from 1973, the out-of-print movie The Outfit, the obscure revenge film featuring Robert Duvall, Joe Don Baker, and Karen Black.

Also out, the release of Machete, a bloody action movie staring Robert De Niro and Lindsay Lohan.

The death last month of the popular director Blake Edwards has prompted the note that many of his five decades of masterworks are available for the small screen -- including Breakfast At Tiffany's, The Pink Panther, Victor/Victoria, and Days of Wine and Roses.
