Search Underway For Del. Sex Offender

DOVER, Del. (CBS) – Delaware State Police are asking for the public’s help to capture a convicted sex offender.

Anthony M. Tolson, 37, is wanted for failing to re-register as a sex offender after changing jobs.

State law requires sex offenders to re-register within three days of changing their address or job.

The police department is seeking the public’s help in finding Tolson.

They ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts to call Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333, or go to

    Ahhh…how do they know he “changed” jobs? “Changed jobs” implies that he is actually “working” somewhere else, which means the cops should easily be able to find him.

    Now, if they mean to say he “quit his job and now we don’t know if he got another job because we can’t find him,” then I would believe it more.

    Seriously. Get the story right or not at all. Just because it has the word “sex offender” in the story doesn’t mean you don’t get all the facts, including the inferences I derived.
