NEWARK, Del. (CBS) - Delaware State Police are searching for a suspect who has been using fraudulent credit cards to buy cigarettes.

Since October, the suspect has entered the Cigarette City Stores located in both the Peoples Plaza Shopping Center in Glasgow and the College Square Shopping Center in Newark and has purchased cigarettes using what appeared to be a valid credit card. The latest incident happened December 1.

After the suspect left the store, employees then realized that the card was fictitious. It is believed that the same suspect has committed this crime on several occasions.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Troop 2 at 302-834-2630 ext. 222. Tips may also be submitted through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
