PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for the suspects who vandalized nearly a dozen cars in Northeast Philadelphia early Wednesday morning.
The vandalism happened in the 8400 block of Walker Street in the city’s Holmesburg section.
According to police, 11 vehicles had their windows smashed during the incident. Police believe the vandals broke into the cars looking for items to steal. At least one GPS unit was stolen.
Some neighbors told Eyewitness News that they blame drug dealers who have had the cops called on them in the past. Neighbors believe the vandalism was retaliation.
The incident remains under police investigation.
