DOVER, Del. (AP) – Delaware residents can recycle their Christmas trees at five locations around the state.
Locations in New Castle County, Kent County and Sussex County will accept trees that have had ornaments and decorations removed. The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control says trees can be dropped off through Jan. 27 at locations including Killens Pond State Park, Trap Pond State Park and Cape Henlopen State Park.
To help defray the cost of recycling, a $2 donation is suggested.
