Christmas Eve Festivities Held At American Jewish History Museum
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – If you're not celebrating Christmas, there's a lot to do at the National Museum of American Jewish History.
The National Museum of American Jewish History held their annual being Jewish at Christmas event.
"Sometimes you feel a little excluded because Christmas, in addition to being a Christian religious holiday, in this country really is a national holiday. On the other hand, I think most Jews find it to be an opportunity to be together," says CEO Michael Rosenzweig.
The party at the museum included a band, food, science experiments and other activites for kids.
And as what is the appropriate holiday salutation if you are Jewish and you are wished a Merry Christmas?
"I say Merry Christmas back because if they say Merry Christmas, it generally means they're celebrating Christmas and I want them to have a Merry Christmas."
