Hamlisch And Feinstein To Perform At The Kimmel Center

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A pair of musical geniuses are converging on Verizon Hall for a one night to share experiences through The American Songbook.

Kimmel Center Vice President of Programming Matt Wolf says Marvin Hamlisch is a legend and has the hardware to prove it, "He's won a Grammy, a Tony and an Oscar."

Joining him on stage is Michael Feinstein, who Wolf says is another legend in his craft.

"He's known for his arrangements. He's a performer. He's a wonderful artistic programmer and director," adds Wolf.

Two men, two pianos says Wolf and it makes for a night to remember,"It's going to be a wonderful evening where they talk, they play, they just really enjoy the history of American music."
