PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Santa paid a visit to the Omni Hotel in Old City Sunday for a little brunch — and to help raise money for the Philadelphia Fire Department.
Santa — giving his reindeer a day off to cool their cloven hooves on the tundra — ditched his sleigh for a fire truck, which just happened to match his outfit.
The plus-sized elf joined members of the Pennsylvania Ballet for the annual Nutcracker Brunch, followed by a matinee performance of the holiday chestnut.
Who knew Santa was a balletomane?
Proceeds benefit the Fireman’s Hall Museum, just around the corner on North 2nd Street, and the department’s fire prevention programs.
