PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Chris Fouch scored six of his 27 points in overtime as Drexel edged Rider 71-67 on Saturday.

Rider scored the first four points in overtime, but the Dragons (6-1) cut their deficit to 67-65 on a layup by Frantz Massenat with 2:32 remaining.

It was all Fouch after that, with the sophomore guard making 1 of 2 free throws, then a 3-pointer with 27 seconds left to put Drexel ahead 69-67. He added two free throws with 0:05 remaining.

Brandon Penn scored 18 points, Justin Robinson 16 and Mike Ringgold 15 for the Broncs (6-5). Robinson's layup with 25 seconds in regulation tied the game at 63.

The game went to overtime when Samme Givens, who finished with 18 points and 14 rebounds for Drexel, missed a 2-point attempt at the buzzer.

Rider led 18-8 midway through the first half, but Fouch scored Drexel's next 10 points in a span of 1:49 to cut the Broncs' lead to 20-18.
