African-American Museum Launches ‘Lens Legacy’ Program

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The African-American Museum in Philadelphia has announced its new “Lens Legacy” program, which will allow kids to learn the roots of the music business.

Over the next several months, the AAMP’s new program, Lens Legacy, will educate and engage audiences through live performances by accomplished artists.

“All of the performances and some of the reactions from the audience will be documented, processed, distributed and archived, then shared through our website at,” said museum president and CEO Romona Riscoe Benson.

The experiences are shared globally.

“We will extend the length of the contribution they have made.  And so legacy is a buzz word for us moving into our 35th anniversary which will be next year,” Benson added.
