PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation is ringing in the new year with new exhibits and more events in Philadelphia.
GPTMC CEO Meryl Levitz is reminding visitors celebrating New Years in Philadelphia that museums are open New Year’s Day.
“The Philadelphia Museum of Art, National Constitution Center, Please Touch Museum, everything, and of course the little ones can ring in New Years at noon at Please Touch museum or all afternoon at Franklin Square,” said Levitz.
The fun continues throughout the year in Philadelphia.
“With new shows at the Philadelphia Museum of Art such as Chagall, with the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts the month of April, which is over 300 events, with a Leonardo exhibit and a science exhibit at the Franklin Institute and up and down the Parkway, you won’t be able to get through the winter without getting off your couch,” Levitz. “There’s just too much to do!”
