BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS) — A pedestrian died after being struck by a car driven by a community service officer in Bucks County Monday evening.
The accident happened at about 8:30 p.m. on E. Street Road near Hulmeville Road in Bensalem.
According to police, the community service officer was riding back to the police station when he struck a male pedestrian who was crossing the street.
The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deadly accident remains under police investigation.
