Fantasia Fans Get Bonus Features on New Video

PHILADELPHIA(CBS)-- Our major attraction on this week's video list takes us back to November 13, 1940, when Walt Disney Enterprises gave birth to the brilliantly inventive Fantasia, the amazing combination of highbrow classical music and cartoons with mass appeal.

The original, featuring the Philadelphia Orchestra under Leopold Stokowski, was re-released for decades before Disney attempted an update with Fantasia 2000, an IMAX production that drew mixed comparisons to the original-- some critics liked it better, some not as much.

Both are now available on Blu-ray and Standard DVD loaded with numerous bonus features.

Other releases this week include Knight and Day, with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, as a single disc DVD or two disc Blu-ray; The Sorcerer's Apprentice, with Nicholas Cage; and The Wiz, from 1978 with Diana Ross and Michael Jackson.

There's also the third season of The Lucy Show and two discs featuring Loony Tunes super stars, as well as "The Michael Douglas Film Collection," a boxed set of ten of his films.
