Drexel Dominates Binghamton

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Chris Fouch scored a career-high 30 points and Samme Givens added 12 points and 15 rebounds to lead Drexel to a 79-39 blowout win over Binghamton on Sunday.

Fouch shot 11 of 15 from the floor (73.3 percent), including 8 for 11 from 3-point range (72.7 percent).

The Dragons (3-1) scored 17 of the game's first 18 points and led 39-8 with 2:37 remaining before halftime. Drexel led 39-13 at halftime.

Binghamton (1-4) shot 5 for 21 from the floor (23.8 percent) in the opening half and were outrebounded 39-20 for the game.

Drexel continued its dominance in the second, going on a 18-7 run to open up a 57-20 lead with 10:40 left to play. The Dragons led by as many as 43, 71-28, with 5:42 to go in the game.

Robert Mansell scored 12 points and Chretien Lukusa added 10 for the Bearcats, who finished 13-18 in 2009-10 after making their first NCAA Tournament in 2009.
