Man Wanted For 3 Center City Attacks

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are looking for the man they say is responsible for a series of sex attacks on women in Center City on Saturday evening.

All of the attacks were reported to have happened within a 90-minute period.

At 7:30, police say a 24-year-old woman was walking along the 300 block of North 10th Street when she was approached by a man who was fondling himself. She was able to get into her car and lock the door before the guy could open it.

About an hour later, a 31-year-old woman was followed inside her apartment along the 300 block of North 11th Street. Authorities say a man pushed her to the floor and sexually assaulted her. The man ran off when the victim screamed.

At 9 o'clock, cops say a 24-year-old woman was around 9th and Vine Streets when a man grabbed her from behind.

Police are looking for a white man in his 50s, about 5-foot-8, with an average build, longer-length blond-grey hair, and unkempt grey facial hair. He may be homeless. At the time of the alleged attacks, he wore dark clothing and a dark cap.

Investigators ask anyone with information to call 911.
