MOORESTOWN, NJ (CBS) — Burlington County authorities are investigating the attempted luring of a teenage boy in Moorestown.
Police say a 16-year-old was walking on West Main Street around 11:45 on Saturday evening when a man pulled his car along side the boy and asked if he was out after curfew.
Officials say the man asked the teen for identification, and the boy asked the driver for his own ID.
Police say the man then offered the teen a ride home, which the boy declined.
The man is described as white, in his 40s, with closely-cropped light-colored, graying hair. At the time, he was wearing sunglasses, and a brown leather jacket.
Anyone with any additional information is asked to contact the Moorestown Police Criminal Investigations Division at 856-914-3092.
