Police: 4th Attack Possibly Linked To 'Kensington Strangler'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police say another woman has come forward to report a crime that may be tied to the strangler who has killed two women in Kensington and attacked a third.

Police say the crime took place about a month ago but the victim did not report it until she saw the composite sketch of a suspect in the strangling deaths of two women in Kensington-- one found in a vacant lot in Kesington, November 3rd; the other on an abandoned property November 13th. A third victim came forward earlier this week-- describing an attack in early October that fit the pattern of the murders. She provided police with a description of her attacker.

Police say this fourth possible victim also describes a crime that fits the pattern
The woman reports she went with the man voluntarily to a vacant lot near Kensington Avenue but that he began strangling her until she lost consciousness. She believes she may have been sexually assaulted while she was unconscious.

The suspect is believed to be in his twenties. He has a goatee and a mark on his cheek.

A suspect in the strangling deaths of two women in Kensington and an attack on a third may also be linked to a fourth attack in the area.
