Woman Attacked Inside Cumberland Co. Home

MILLVILLE, NJ (CBS) -- One suspect was arrested and police are searching for a second in connection to the attack of a woman inside her Cumberland County home.

Investigators say 24-year-old Dante Forrest of Sicklerville and another man, both dressed in black and wearing ski masks, approached a 32-year-old woman outside her Cumberland Green Townhome in Millville at about 1 a.m. Sunday.

"As she was walking to her apartment, she heard footsteps approaching her from behind. She was confronted by two men. One was armed with a handgun. They forced her into her apartment where they bound her with duct tape," Lt. Les Watson of the Millville Police Department said.

The victim was returning home alone after watching a football game with her boyfriend. Police say she was bound, sexually groped, robbed and her life was threatened at gunpoint.

Forrest and the second suspect got away with $500 in cash, two video game systems and the woman's car moments before police arrived.

Police say Forrest fled in the victim's Camaro to his housing complex, less than a mile away.

Investigators recovered the vehicle and a K-9 unit helped to apprehend Forrest, who was hiding in a resident's yard.

Investigators are asking anyone with knowledge of the second suspect or his whereabouts to contact the Millville Police Department.
