Delaware State Police Seek Wawa Robbery Suspect

NEWARK, Del. (CBS) -- Delaware State Police are searching for suspects in connection the robbery of a Wawa store early Sunday morning.

Police say, a white male suspect entered the Wawa on the 200 block of East Chestnut Hill Road in Newark with a knife and demanded cash from the register.

The employee, complying with the suspects' request, allowed the man to remove an undisclosed amount of cash from the register before he fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect captured on the store's surveillance video is a white male, believed to be between 30 and 40 years of age, 5'08"-5'10" tall. He was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt with white long sleeve undershirt, dark colored sweat pants, black shoes, and wearing a green baseball cap.

The suspect was armed with a knife and should be considered dangerous.
