Armed Suspects Rob West Oak Lane Convenience Store
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are searching for three suspects in connection to the armed robbery of a convenience store in the city's West Oak Lane section.
The incident happened November 2 in the Shop Express store located in the 6900 block of Old York Road.
Surveillance cameras inside the store show a man armed with a shotgun and two others enter the store. The suspects jumped over the counter and took money out of the cash register. The suspects then fled the store.
Investigators believe one of the suspects was involved in a similar robbery at a store in Strawberry Mansion on October 30 (see previous story).
Anyone with information on either robbery is urged to contact police.
