BLOG: Walmart Offers Free Holiday Shipping
By Jim Donovan: Walmart has announced that it will offer free shipping on nearly 60,000 holiday items now through December 20 at Walmart.com.
The special free shipping offer includes all electronics (excluding iPods and iPads), plus thousands of select video games, toys, home appliances, furniture, jewelry, and baby items.
This free shipping offer for the holiday season complements Walmart's long-running Site to Store program, which provides customers free shipping to a Walmart store on tens of thousands of online items.
Eligible items are shipped for free via standard shipping and delivered within 3-5 business days after the order is processed. Return shipping is also free, or customers can return online orders to a local Walmart store.
