Rachael Ray To Speak On Women's Health At Convention Center

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Virtua Hospital is holding a special event for women this Saturday at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, and seats are still available. The key note speaker this year is Rachael Ray.

Jane Yepez vice president of marketing explains what the symposium is all about:

"We offer them a wide range of sessions that have to do with life balance. Some of them are about health, others are about balancing your life, life style, and wellness."

One Session is called "Along Came a Spider Vein" which will feature a doctor talking about how these develop and how to remove them. "Blaze Your Own Trail To Success" features three women and others include how to navigate your teen through today's digital world. Yepez explains how Rachael Ray was chosen to speak:

"We look for speakers who are celebrities who can demonstrate life balance. People who have impeccable reputations who really can talk about family and how they balance family and their very successful careers."

Previous speakers include Sigourney Weaver and Goldie Hawn. The Symposium runs from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. For more information, visit http://www.virtua.org/news/womens-health-symposium/default.aspx
