Coons Beats O’Donnell In Delaware Senate Race

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — Democrat Chris Coons says he is feeling humbled by his victory over Republican and tea party-backed Christine O’Donnell, but says now the hard work begins.

On Tuesday Coons defeated O’Donnell, who struggled to shake old cable-show footage in which she spoke out against masturbation and talked about dabbling in witchcraft as a teenager.

Just goes to show that a leader needs to be qualified. What does a nutty constitutional law professor or lawyer know about the economy? We need someone with economic experience to make good business decisions, who is connected with industry leaders. When many fortune 500 CEO’s don’t even have college degrees, noone cares about which ivy league university you attended. They are in it to win it – to earn a profit. When the economy affects every one of us, your business savy and connections count, a lot.

Just goes to show that you have to properly vent your selected candidate. Also what happened as a teenage 20 years ago is not importnat now and should never be commened on by the candidate. I’ve seen it more than once the candidate that cannot keeps his or her mouth shut and cost them the election.
