PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The National Liberty Museum’s annual glass auction comes up Saturday October 30th and those really interested can sign up for a glass weekend.

The National Liberty Museum’s mission and glass art are forever entwined, constantly reminding visitors that freedom, like glass, is fragile and once it’s broken, it’s not easily put back together.   In one of the only auctions of its kind, hundreds of glass sculptures will go up for bidding October 30th.  However, there’s also a glass weekend for the real enthusiast.

Gwen Borowsky, the Liberty Museum’s C.E.O. says, “Going to artists’ studios, visiting collectors in their homes, learning about the work of the National Liberty Museum, and other fun things related to glass.”
