Treating Chronic Pain Without Medication

Have you been suffering with back pain or a headache recently? Nearly 70 percent of Americans say that they or someone they care for experienced pain in the previous 30 days. In fact, more than 76 million Americans live with pain every day. And chronic pain affects more Americans than cancer, heart disease and diabetes combined.

A study performed by the American Osteopathic Association found 41 percent of people believe pain is a normal part of aging and 36% don't even seek a doctor's help.

Remember the best treatments for pain often have absolutely nothing to do with pain medication.
Exercise, massage and relaxation techniques can help.
