PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – It’ll be a busy weekend at the sports complex, as Phillies playoff traffic competes with multiple events on the other side of Pattison Avenue.
Here’s the lineup: The Phillies have 8 p.m. playoff games tomorrow and Sunday nights. Plus, tomorrow at 1 p.m., it’s Temple football at the Linc. And at 6 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Center, the Flyers play the Penguins. Sunday at 1 p.m. the Eagles host Atlanta.
Phillies VP for operations Mike Stiles says there are 24,000 parking spaces in the sports complex, and the key is to clear out afternoon football traffic when you have multiple events:
“They are not going on simultaneously. And the trick is just to get Eagles fans in and out before Phillies fans come down.”
Stiles advises fans to take public transportation. And if they have to drive, to park in the first available spot. Stiles says the parking fee will remain $15 for the postseason.
