Fans Think Phillies Have What It Takes to Win Pennant

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Phillies fans are now shifting their focus to the San Francisco Giants, who come to town for game one of the National League Championship series on Saturday.

The NLCS shapes up to be a battle between two top-flight pitching staffs. But hometown fans like this man believe the Phillies' "H20" combination is a little better than the Giants' staff, led by Tim Lincecum:

"Their first two pitchers, yeah, but our first two pitchers match up pretty well with them. And after that, I think the way Hamels is pitching right now beats their third. And I have faith in Joe Blanton. He'll do a good job in game four, and I think our bullpen is better than theirs."

The series is also a homecoming of sorts for former Phillies Aaron Rowand and Pat Burrell.
