PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia Neighborhood Food Week is back Sunday through the 16th, highlighting restaurants in eight city neighborhoods.
This is the second year for the Philadelphia Neighborhood Food Week, up from six to nine neighborhoods this year; City Avenue, Northern Liberties, Ogontz Avenue, East Passyunk, Manayunk, West Passyunk, Darby, Penn’s Landing and South Street.
Participating restaurants in each area will offer prix fixe meal options for $20 or $30 per patron.
Charisse McGill is the founder:
“What we want to do is highlight these neighborhoods as dining destinations because there’s a lot of secret hideaway spots in the neighborhoods that are off the beaten path but their food is just as good as any restaurant downtown.”
