Armed Suspects Sought In Del., Pa. Bank Robberies

BRANDYWINE HUNDRED, Del. (CBS) -- Police are searching for two suspects in connection to the robberies of two banks in Delaware and one in Pennsylvania.

The first robbery happened Friday morning at the WSFS bank located in the Safeway Supermarket. The second one occurred about 30 minutes later at the TD Bank on Marsh Road in Brandywine Hundred, Delaware. Both banks are approximately a mile from one another.

In both robberies, the suspects entered the banks and displayed a demand note. In the WSFS robbery, a handgun was displayed.

The suspects were seen fleeing in a gold four-door Toyota Camry with unknown Delaware registration.

Pennsylvania State Police are also investigating a bank robbery at the TD Bank located on US 202 in Concord Township, just over the Delaware state line involving the same suspects. That robbery occurred around 10:30 a.m. Friday.
