Greek Festival Of Food And Fun This Weekend In Cherry Hill

CHERRY HILL (CBS) - Thousands of people are expected in Cherry Hill, NJ starting today for the four-day Greek festival.

It's everything Greek this weekend at Saint Thomas Greek Orthodox Church on Mercer Street for the annual Greek Agora. Agora is marketplace in Greek, but it's much more than that -- it's a four-day festival of food, wine, music, dance, and song.

George Horiates is vice president and co-chair of the event. He says people up and down the East Coast are converging on Cherry Hill this weekend:

"And it takes them back to Greece itself as they sit there and they reminisce, as they hear the Greek music, as they eat the Greek food, it literally transforms you from Cherry Hill to the tiny nation of Greece."
