Mr. Giordano, Doyou sill believe that Cardinal is telling the truth and doing all he can to help the victims of sexual abuse by priests? DId you read the Grand Jury report? I’m sorry I didn’t have the opportunity to hear your thoughts on this situation. I think you are a fair and honest man. My heart and many others are broken by the leaders and some of the priests of our church. If we turn a blind eye to these things we are enablers. I remember reading in the Bible that Our Lord drove the money changers out of the temple. How to you think He would react to these Cardinals, Bishops, and Priests? The words millstone, neck and sea come to mind. I feel
as if I have been betrayed. I love my faith and I will never leave but something has to be done. All names should be revealed. We have a right to know who they are and if our children are in danger. I have priestts and nuns in my own family and their hearts are broken. One of the priests that was named in the report was a guest in my home many times. I just can’t believe that I have been deceived. I thought things were getting better. Now, I know they are not. God help us and God give strength to those good priests that serve us each and everyday.
