Reading, Pa. Baby Struck By Bullet Has Died

READING, Pa. (AP) - An infant struck in the head by a bullet fragment inside a home in Reading, Pa. earlier this week has died.

Seven-week-old Michael Johnson was in a stroller on the bottom floor of the residence on Sunday when police say, a gun was fired upstairs.

The bullet pierced the ceiling and a piece hit the boy (see previous story). He died at a hospital on Tuesday night.

The boy's mother, 20-year-old Ebony Sanders, told police she was with a man on the second floor when his gun went off accidentally.

He fled the home.  Police are still looking for him.
