New Store for Philadelphians with Food Allergies

Shopping for people with food allergies is now a little easier for people in Philadelphia.

KYW's Lynne Adkins reports that Amy Kunkle had a hard time food shopping because her three children have multiple food allergies.  So, Kunkle opened 'Food for All' market in the 7100 block of Germantown Avenue in Mount Airy.  It sells prepared foods, pastries and produce:

"We are local, sustainable agriculture, meats (that are) allergy  friendly.  We have a lot of organic products and a lot of local products.  We buy our produce from local farms.  When we can't get them, if they're not in season and we want them, we'll buy organic instead."

Kunkle says the shop is ideal for people with such food allergies as wheat, nuts, soy, dairy and shellfish.  Anyone with questions can just ask.
