KYW’s Al Novack reports that according to police, the dump truck was loaded with crushed stones and was crossing the bridge in the eastbound lanes when a bar that holds a tarp fell from the truck and went through the window of a van in the westbound lane.

The van then veered out of control and struck another car.

The operator of the eastbound truck — who may be unaware of the mishap — continued into New Jersey.

The driver of the van was seriously injured.  Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen the truck should call bridge police at 856-829-3082.
