International Students Get Crash Course in Phila. Culture
Students from more than a hundred countries were given a crash course in American culture Friday at the University of Pennsylvania.
KYW's Paul Kurtz reports a sketch on common American greetings was part of the presentation put together by Rudolfo Altamirano, Penn's Director of International Students and Scholar Services:
"Our goal here is to make sure that our International students are well integrated to the University of Pennsylvania community, supporting them to form networks and friendships.
Tanya Vasalikioti, a freshman from Greece says she has a lot to learn, aside from the classroom.
