The Mann Center for the Performing Arts is proud to present International cabaret artist Mark Nadler performing with the acclaimed New York Pops in a tribute concert honoring The Mann’s 75 years of presenting live music in Fairmount Park on September 22nd at 8pm.
Radio: “Mann Center Welcomes Nadler and NY Pops.”
KYW’s Stasia DeMarco spoke with entertainer Mark Nadler:
“What we are going to be doing is celebrating the Year 1935. So that happens to have been a magnificent year for songs. The Gershwin’s wrote “Porgy and Bess”. Irving Berlin wrote “Cheek to Cheek”… just a great, great year for songs.
And Nadler is not the only one taking to the Mann stage:
“The New York Pops and I have been working very hard to create original arrangements. It’s going to be a pretty fun and exciting evening and of course it all ends with fireworks.”
