Police in Lindenwold, New Jersey are urging residents to be extra vigilant after a break-in and sexual assault of two women.
KYW’s Kim Glovas reports police say a 40-year-old woman and her 17-year-old daughter were in a first-floor apartment at the Arborwood Condominiums early Sunday when a man broke in through a window.
Authorities say the man ordered the two from their bedrooms and into the living room. Then, police say, the man got something from the kitchen and proceeded to viciously assault them sexually with the unidentified object. The suspect then fled.
Police were called and the two victims were taken to the hospital.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the attacks to contact them immediately.
The same suspect was believed to have entered another unit in the complex earlier in an adjacent building, but was scared off by a dog.
