Analysis: Two Major Senate Races to Watch
In campaign 2010, news that our region is in the top ten.
KYW special contributor Larry Kane reports in addition to the two major parties, 11 different news organizations have put two area Senate races on the national map naming them to the top ten. One of them is the Pa. battle between Democrat Joe Sestak and Republican Pat Toomey.
In addition to the being in the top ten, it may be one of the most expensive in the nation.
The second race is Delaware where Republican Congressman Mike Castle is running for the seat once held by the nation's number two, Vice President Biden. But Castle has to deal with the tea party first; the conservative movement is supporting Christine O'Donnell to run against Castle in the primary next month.
The Republican will face Democrat Chris Coons in November and it could be a close race especially with Biden campaigning for the Democrats.
