Philly's 'With Love' Campaign Hits Nation's Capital

Philadelphia's "With Love" campaign is taking over Washington D.C. as tourism officials here notice an increased number of visitors to the City of Brotherly Love from the nation's capital.

KYW's Karin Phillips reports you get off the train at Union Station in DC and it's all Philadelphia - with posters, billboards, and other media carrying the With Love, Philly XOXO logos everywhere, even through the Metro stations into the D.C. suburbs.

Jeff Guarcino is spokesman for the Greater Philadelphia Tourism and Marketing Corporation:

"Travel is coming back.  And Washington D.C. is the third largest market for Philadelphia so this year, for the first time since the Great Recession, we are back in D.C. in a big way."

Guarcino says leisure travel dollars are loosening up and with major attractions like Cleopatra, Philadelphia is sure to draw a great number of visitors from Washington and beyond.
