Philadelphia Hires New Tugboat Operator

The city of Philadelphia is hiring a new tugboat operator, after this month's fatal crash on the Delaware River.

A spokesman for the mayor's office says K-Sea Transportation has agreed to suspend its contract, pending the findings of an NTSB investigation.

McCallister Towing and Transportation will provide service on a month-to-month basis.

Two people were killed on July 7 when a barge collided with a Ride the Ducks boat, sinking the boat and forcing 37 people into the river.
