PHILADELPHIA (WIP) – The Philadelphia Flyers have traded Simon Gagne to Tampa Bay in exchange for defenseman Matt Walker and a 4th Round Pick.
Gagne leaves Philly as the longest tenured Flyer after being drafted 22nd overall in 1998. Gagne played in 664 games in his tenure here, ranking 9th in team history in goals (259), 16th in assists (265), and 10th in points (524). A two-time all-star, he was awared the Bobby Clarke Trophy as the Flyers MVP twice.
