Celtic Woman, the Irish music sensation, is coming to Philadelphia’s Mann Center on Saturday, July 31st with “Songs from the Heart”

“Some of them are very old, traditional Irish songs that have been passed through generations and some of them are newer songs.”

Group member Lisa Kelly says it’s that balance of old and new that makes this a unique event:

“It’s kind of rare that you can bring your entire family to a show and everybody enjoy it.”

Seeing smiles on faces in the crowd is what she loves most:

“You get people that come up to you at the end of the night and say, ‘you know, I’ve had a really rough time for the last few years, and your music has really helped me.’ That’s just the hugest compliment you could get.”
