If you need to access your work computer from home, or vice versa, you need LogMeIn.com. 

Simply install the software on your home computer and create your account.  Then, all you need to do is call up that account from any other computer and you’ll have complete access to your computer via your web browser.  There’s even an application for your iPhone or iPad.
