AT&T National Leftovers

Tiger Woods was thrilled with the way he was driving the ball at Aronimink.  He said it was partly his swing and partly the new ball he put in play, one with a firmer cover and less spin.  He did it was an eye on the British Open and St. Andrews, but it'll be interesting to see if he sticks with this ball, because he was very long and straight off the tee at the AT&T National.  A nice story about it is here.

Rose was Rollin' It

Sure, his 274-hole streak without a three-putt came to an end  at number ten on Sunday, but Justin Rose really handled Aronimink's greens nicely all week.  A big part of that, he says, was a mindset of not worrying about the outcome of each putt -- to roll it like he did when he was a kid. We all should putt like that, and you can tap into his thoughts here.
