A 20-year-old Blackwood, NJ man has been charged with robbing a cab driver in the parking lot of a Deptford apartment complex two weeks ago and stabbing the cabbie in the neck as he fled. Randy James was picked up at a home in Washington Township, Wednesday night without incident.

Chief Dan Murphy credited his Deptford police department, Gloucester County detectives, and US marshals in helping to catch the suspect:

“We were able to interview him and obtain a confession from him. We were also able to obtain physical evidence. We believe that we have the knife that he used during this assault.”
