Offensively Brian Schneider recorded 3 of the Phils 7 hits, highlighted by a 2 rbi double in the 2nd. The Phils top 4 in the lineup(Victorino, Werth, Utley, Howard) combined for 1 hit and 4 strikeouts.

Before this afternoon's game the team held a player's only meeting, to try and solve the issues contributing to the current slump. It goes without saying the meeting seemingly had no effect. They've now lost 3 in row. They try to aviod the sweep tommorrow afternoon at 1:30 on 610wip. Following Boston the Phils travel to the Bronx to take on the Yankees. Then they return home to face the Twins, and Indians, and finally close out interleague play with the Blue Jays at home, even though they'll be considered the away team.
