Overshadowed by game 1 of the cup finals Roy Halladay made baseball history throwing the 20th perfect game in league history, in a Phils 1-0 win over the Marlins.

Halladay becomes just the 2nd pitcher in Philadelphia Phillies history to throw the perfect game(Bunning, 1964). The ace was beyond officiant...115 pitches. Time of game: 2hrs 13mins. The last no hitter thrown by a Phil was Kevin Millwood in April of 2003. The outing couldn't have come at a better time. Florida ace Josh Johnson went 7 innings allowing just 1 run(unearned) which was on a Cameron Maybin fielding error. Sunday afternoon at 1 on wip the Phils go for the sweep of the Marlins.
